Titanic was a huge ship which went down on April 14, 1912, killing 1,500 people. The wreck remains at a depth of 12,500 ft in the Atlantic Ocean, just 400 nautical miles from Newfoundland, Canada. There were 706 survivors of the Titanic in total. The wreck is still in bad condition, with bacteria eating the delicious iron of the ship. There are predictions that the ship will start disappearing in 2030 and end in 2050. Not a lot of people believe that as the ship may still be there forever. We just don't know yet. It is a grave for the 1,500 people that were killed and scientists found new ways of raising Titanic from the water.
I thought the lost cause was a difference in opinion, or if you value the good in something over the bad. Not a moral statement. Plus anyone how studies history critically will find the American Civil war was more about how the government got it's money than any principal.
I love history
Hi, I tried this quiz. The quiz basically asks questions related to events that happened in January. Quite US-centric, if you ask me. But it's still fun.
My score: 16/20
