For some years now, the top category in most Wikia sites has had only three subcategories:

• Category:Content - the subject-matter of the wiki
• Category:Files - images and similar pages
• Category:Organization - administration, maintenance, and organization of the wiki, as distinct from encyclopedic content

Older wikis such as this one can adopt the same structure with advantage. See w:c:starter:category:browse for the standard layout.
