Charles was the Grandmaster of the Teutonic Order from 1619 until 1624.
Charles was the youngest son of Archduke Charles II of Inner Austria. In 1619 he was elected to replace his cousin Maximilian as the grandmaster of the Teutonic Knights. He died in 1624.
