Nepal

Nepal is a land locked south Asian nation located on the Himalayan Plateau in between China and India. Nepal has a population of around 29 million people and an area of 147,180 km². Nepal was formed in 1768 as a monarchy and continued to be this way until 2008 when Nepal became a federal parliamentary republic. Nepal's capital, Kathmandu, has a population of around 1.4 million, making it Nepal's largest city. Nepal is one of the few nations of the world with a non-rectangular flag.
